Within last two weekends two Autoslide events were held. On January 10 Slovakian Žarnovice had its turn, but a week later on January 16 another Autoslide ice race were held in Czech Pardubice. Both events were attended by a great number of autocross and rallycross drivers as well as a crowd of spectators visited the spectacular shows.
In Slovakia the local star Jozef Zimerman had to defend his Champion's title in Division 4x4 with his Toyota Corolla that has changed its painting from habitual yellow-red to white and blue. He was fast enough to leave no chances for others who cared for the crown. In the final race he could beat his closest rivals Miroslav Pospichal second and Jiri Špalek third.

In Division 4x2 the Czech rallycross star, European Rallycross Champion in Division 1A of 2007 Roman Častoral (Opel Astra) did his job outstanding and proved his advantage over Daniel Pažicky and Tomas Hurt.

In the category Buggies Open young Tomas Pospišilik who successfully debuted in European Autocross Championship of 2009 in Division 3A could grab the first place over experienced Boris Vaculik. The third accordingly came Junior Buggy driver Marcel Labužik.

A week later a great number of Slovakian Autoslide entrants came to Pardubice to join the Czech Autoslide event. The track was more icy and with more snow than it was in Slovakia and that gave a new experience for a lot of drivers.

In Four Wheel Drive class the scenario turned out almost the same way as in Žrnovica. Josef Zimmerman again left no chances for his followers. This time Pospichal changed with Špalek and finished third letting Špalek to take the second place on the podium. The fourth came Norwegian rallycross expert Guttorm Lindefjell with Škoda Octavia.

As later told the winner, comparing with Žrnovica, in Pardubice it was colder and therefore speeds were higher. The Pardubice oval is wider and thus there were fewer contacts between cars.  Emotionally he feels better in Slovakia in front of his local fans, but the track quality was better in Czech. He also recognized that the full grandstands in Pardubice cannot leave anybody indifferent.

The same story in Division 4x2 - Roman Častoral became first this time in front of Petr Maršalek and Patrik Tužinsky.

After the race Častoral also recognized that two Autoslide events differed mainly with the weather conditions. In Žarnovica the racecourse were more muddy than icy. Here he drove at full throttle and with wide sideslips. As he was the one who could choose the first place on the starting grid in the final race, he decided to take the inner position and that gave him the main advantage over his rivals in the race.

Division Buggies was won by Vladislav Štetina who drove his Division 3 car. The second ended Ondrej Musil, the third Boris Vaculik.

Autoslide debutant Vladislav Štetina later said that he came here more for fun and at the beginning drove more for fans. Later he felt that he can win the event and took the races more seriously.

In Pardubice Junior Buggies where separated from their older mates. The first to cross the finish line was Jakub Kubiček who was faster over his followers brothers Zemans. Second came Tadeaš and third Matyaš.
